Update on Parking Issues, by Bill Jacob
Posted on Jan 6th, 2017
Last month I walked and drove the neighborhood a few times and placed warning letters on cars parking in the street. I and other board members will continue to monitor things and make rounds again now that the holidays are over. All cars that have been notified are being logged and repeat offenders will be issued $25 fines (per occurrence) if they continue to park on the street overnight.
In addition, please be aware that you can call the York Co. Sheriff's Office to have an officer come out if you feel someone is blocking a street or cul-de-sac in such a way that school buses or emergency vehicles may be impeded. If they agree with your assessment (because there is no definitive definition of what is considered "blocking"), they can issue a citation to the vehicle owner.
