Pool & Tennis Court Access
Posted on May 18th, 2019 Comments (0)

When the Pool opens (target date Wednesday May 22), it  will now be accessed with a swipe card instead of a key.  You will need to swap your current pool key for an access card.

Sunday May 19 through Tuesday May 28th, you can see Erika Teague (340 Gringley Hill Rd) between 9am and 8pm only please.  During the Pool Party, Saturday May 25th 3-8pm, Erika or Hector Cardona will have the access cards.

If you do not currently have a pool key, you will need to contact me at to obtain an access card.

Due to installation issues, at the present time, the locks have been removed from the tennis courts.  If we notice an increase in unauthorized uses and/or users at the tennis courts, we will add the swipe card access system there too. Please let the Board know if you notice any problems.

There have been a number of issues associated with this change and I apologize for the changeover being somewhat last minute.  We are doing our best to make sure the new system operates without problems by the time the pool opens.

Update on Wildbrook Pond
Posted on Jan 19th, 2019 Comments (0)
As most in the neighborhood may know, Wildbrook Pond had become very shallow due to siltation that had developed from a variety of sources over time.  The shallow nature of the pond was causing concerns regarding pollution into Steele Creek as well as causing a loss of aquatic life and unsightly growth in the pond during the warmer months.  Since this pond is part of our stormwater protection system and is an amenity that is enjoyed by the neighborhood, it was important that the pond be rehabilitated.
Debris on HOA property
Posted on Jan 16th, 2019 Comments (0)
Please keep our neighborhood clean and be respectful of others. We understand that it is often not easy to get rid of natural debris, however, there is no excuse for dumping any kind of debris on community property or the few vacant lots in the community. This commonly occurs by the entrance to the nature preserve on Cranborne Chase and lately there has been debris dumped between bushes on the Pleasant Road berm.
This illegal dumping is costing everyone money to have it cleaned up and will not be tolerated. Homeowners are encouraged to contact the York Co. Sheriff's Office if they see someone dumping debris.
On Street Parking
Posted on Jan 16th, 2019 Comments (0)
Just a reminder - the covenants require every every homeowner provide adequate off street parking for their vehicles, and overnight parking on the streets is prohibited.
Please be advised that the Board has received numerous complaints and will be stepping up enforcement of the covenants. Board members will resume making rounds now that the holidays are over. Cars in violation will receive a warning letter, and will be logged. Repeat offenders will be issued $25 fines (per occurrence) if they continue to park on the street overnight.  The clubhouse parking lot is available for occasional overflow parking with permission from the BOD.  Please email if you need this facility.
Parking issues (Reposted from 2016)

It seems violations of the neighborhood covenants regarding no on-street parking are on the increase.

The Bailiwyck Yahoo group was retired oas of December 31, 2016, as we now rely on our web site to disseminate information regarding the subdivision, both public and private. Please register to ensure you have access to all the info. Please email to request access.  You will need to provide an email address for access, preferably one per adult in the household.  The website does not allow for shared email access.

As was discussed previously, the Bailiwyck board of directors has been evaluating HOA management companies and I wanted to give everyone an update on that. More will be discussed at our next annual meeting which is scheduled for Sunday, July 9, 2017.
News about news

One shortcoming of the web site is that it's not possible to subscribe to get notifications for news articles (and events). To make this all work better, a new message board has just been created and it's called "News Alerts."
Residents, welcome to our new web site!
